Sessions, imperials, grapefruits, doubles - whatever happened to just a regular IPA? Granted our flagship, Cape May IPA, is a traditional IPA, but we like playing with hops too much to pass up an opportunity to play around with different combinations, so we bring you Cornelius IPA, named after Cape May's founder Cornelius Mey. In true CMBC fashion there is a faint touch of bitterness to round things out, but the real focus here is the aroma. We end up with an amber hued cup of hop juice, one that is dry with a light body and brewed with a blend of Apollo, Simcoe, Amarillo, and Centennial hops, Cornelius is all about the aroma. Gimmicks and trends are fun and have their place, but sometimes getting down to basics and playing with hops is what we love to do best. 6.5% ABV.
