La Socarrada is a "gastro-ale," or food-pairing golden ale made with only, water, malts (pils/amber), hops, yeast, rosemary, and rosemary honey. La Socarrada pours a beautiful golden-amber color with a light, white, non-persistant head. The nose is wonderfully appetizing, filled with rosemary, rosemary-honey, and a light bread-like quality. The taste is full of rosemary, rosemary honey, and fruity characteristics along the lines of pear, apple, and fig. There is also a distinct gingery bite as well as a light note of black pepper. The body is both crisp and pleasantly dry. 6% ABV.
