The crisp October air is thick with the aroma of fresh, green hops. This year, we brewed our annual Fresh Hop Ale with 450lbs. of freshly picked wet Mosaic hops from the Yakima Valley in the Pacific Northwest. These über-fresh hops were harvested, packaged, and delivered right to our brewery all within 48 hours. To infuse the non-bittering essentials of these juicy whole flower hops, we added all 450lbs. directly to our hopback vessel within hours of them landing at the brewery. The very first whiff of Scratch #210 releases intense olfactory hues of overripe mango, bright citrus fruit, and resinous pine sap. Now that’s fresh! 6.4% ABV.
